Snowpiercer new trailer gives a first look at TBS’ upcoming series

The first trailer for TBS’s upcoming TV series Snowpiercer landed this weekend, and it looks like it’s going all out. Based on both Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 film of the same name and the 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-Marc Rochette, the series picks up in a future during which the Earth’s temperature has plummeted far below zero and the remaining population must circle the globe in a train in order the survive.

Here’s the series synopsis:

Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centres on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually-moving train that circles the globe.
